I start by understanding why you want to learn English and what your goals are. This enables me to tailor my the lesson plans to help you achieve these goals, for example, is being able to write English a priority or is it more important for you to be be able to speak English fluently? Do you need English for academic studies or for your work?

Lessons are interactive and use a variety of different activities to build up your knowledge of English grammar, your written skills and speaking skills. These activities include listening exercises, writing exercises, games, reading aloud and short videos.

Lessons are held online via Teams and the typical lesson is 60 minutes in length. Lessons can be scheduled at a day and time that works best for you.

If you are studying and have assignments to write I can help you to understand what the assignment brief is looking for you to do in order to give you the best possible start to be able to achieve a pass.

I have been a tutor for the past eight years working with students at all levels of ability. Prior to becoming a tutor I worked as a senior business leader and so I have a particularly expertise in the use of English as the international language of business.

Finally, I like my lessons to be enjoyable, if you enjoy the lessons and activities you are more able to retain what we have learned and be confident in using English in your day to day life.
