I use visual aids such as books or charts with where each lesson is to get the learner to map out how they would like to progress over so many weeks.

We would set goals together to work on areas that they need help in English language with such as grammar, punctuation or spelling.

The student would go at their own pace because I believe with each individual there is a "learning curve". Some people pick up tasks quicker than others, so the person can go at their own pace.
