Paul Cree

Hi, I'm Paul Cree. I'm a poet and rapper and have been working professionally for over 15 years – writing, performing and teaching all over the UK. My work has been published by Burning Eye Books and Methuen Drama and been featured on BBC 1xtra and BBC London. I've worked with a number of different schools and organisations teaching spoken word and poetry - such as the National Literacy Trust (UK) and Apples and Snakes (UK)

My sessions generally last an hour and would begin with some get-to-you-know exercises, writing challenges, looking at examples and then building towards a piece of writing, which we’d then go on to look at editing etc. They are flexible of course, depending on your needs. I’ve taught this way for many years in a number of different settings and hopefully you’ll get something out of it
