I like to present the topic I am discussing by using many examples from the real world. I have worked with many SME's who had already spent considerable funds producing websites that looked lovely but did not work because they could not be found. It is much easier to design a website that will be found by the search engines from day one rather than try fix the problems later. It is all very well having a super design if the site cannot be found. That is like spending lots on your interior design but skipping the structural engineering bit in your house design. Both are needed and I have worked with many SME's to produce websites that can be found and analysised for performance.
I have a post grad qualification in Search Engine Optimisation from University of California Davis but also many years of experience with website design.I can teach you how to design a new website or even what to what out for when you contract your website development to a third party.
