My background is mainly in teaching English in immersive settings, including lessons about robotics, STEM, and culture.

However, I am happy to adjust my teaching style to fit students’ needs! I am very comfortable helping students edit essays and papers, as well as working on gramatical and vocabulary fundamentals, or, if students would like, we can work in a more conversational environment to improve speaking skills.

I’m of the mindset that immersion is essential for learning a language, so if students are at an English level for fully conducting lessons in English, it is my preference to do so, as I believe this vastly improved students’ learning and retention of the language.

At the University or Michigan I studied Spanish and took multiple classes on pedagogical methods for foreign language instruction, and I have been teaching English as a foreign language to students in Castilla-La Mancha, Spain since September.
