My psychology lessons are designed to be structured, engaging, and student-centred. With over nine years of experience teaching IB and A-Level Psychology, I bring a deep understanding of the subject and how to make it accessible, meaningful, and exam-ready. As a certified IB Examiner, I also offer perspective into what examiners expect, helping students refine their answers, use command terms effectively, and write with clarity and academic precision.
Each session begins with a short check-in to identify specific goals or areas of difficulty. I then introduce key concepts using real-world examples, discussions, and visual tools to enhance understanding. Whether we’re exploring cognitive processes, research methods, or sociocultural influences, I emphasise concept clarity, critical thinking, and application to exam-style questions.
My lessons regularly incorporate past paper practice, timed responses, and examiner-style feedback. I also guide students through Internal Assessments, Extended Essays, and TOK, helping them build strong research, planning, and academic writing skills. My students have consistently achieved top national rankings in A-Level Psychology and full marks in IB coursework, including the TOK essay and IA. I’ve also supported students in international competitions like the Psychology Olympiad.
Above all, my approach is supportive, flexible, and student-driven. I adapt my pace and methods to your learning style, interests, and academic goals. By the end of each lesson, you’ll leave with a stronger grasp of content, clear strategies for revision, and growing confidence in your academic voice. My aim is not just to help you succeed in exams but to help you love learning psychology and become an independent thinker.
