I believe that learning should be an engaging experience for the learner. My classes are student-centred, with a wide variety of learning approaches. I use PowerPoint presentations, recommended audiobooks, films and tasks that will include verbal presentations. Students learning a language must be encouraged to participate in activities that will encourage their use of the language, and so role-play scenarios will be used to encourage communication, creativity and confidence in the use of the language. In a sense, students take an active role in lessons and are constantly encouraged to verbalise whatever they learn in class.

Students learning online will have the opportunity to complete activities and coursework online using online tools like Ms Teams among others. This will enable them to go back to lessons done as a way of reinforcing learning. Any tasks or activities performed can be assessed, recorded and made available for them to evaluate the progress that they are making. They can also use this tool to share specific aspects of the lessons that they need more reinforcement in.
As a tutor with over twenty years of teaching experience, I always aim to make learning an exciting experience. I have taught at all levels of education, and have a passion to see students succeed at learning. At my last institution, I won the overall best female tutor, an award which was given by the students themselves. I am a firm believer in seeing the potential in every person and helping them to excel in learning.
