My lessons are designed to be interactive, supportive, and tailored to each learner’s goals. I believe language learning works best when it feels practical and engaging, so I combine clear explanations with real-life examples, guided practice, and constructive feedback. Students can expect a balance between speaking, listening, reading, and writing activities, depending on their needs and objectives.

I usually begin by understanding a student’s current level and learning goals, then develop a personalised plan. For beginners, I focus on building everyday vocabulary, conversational skills, and confidence in using English in practical situations. For intermediate and advanced learners, I emphasise fluency, accuracy, and critical thinking, including structured grammar practice, writing improvement, and professional or academic communication.

My lessons often use dialogues, role play, and discussion of articles, videos, or case studies to encourage active participation. I also incorporate short writing tasks and presentation practice, especially for students preparing for exams, higher education, or workplace communication.

With a PhD in Public Health and an MA in English-medium research, I bring not only strong academic training but also years of experience in teaching, mentoring, and supporting international learners. This background allows me to help students improve not just their language but also their confidence in academic or professional environments where English is essential.

Overall, students can expect lessons that are flexible, encouraging, and adapted to their pace of learning, with a focus on building both competence and confidence in English. Experienced, patient, supportive, adaptable, engaging, approachable, knowledgeable, interactive, motivating, professional, clear, encouraging, results-driven.
