My lessons are tailored around each student — whether you're a complete beginner picking up the piano for the first time, or someone with a few years under your belt looking to push further. I teach both classical and jazz, and I'll shape the content around what you actually want to get out of it rather than following a rigid syllabus.
In practice, lessons tend to combine playing, listening and theory — not as separate boxes to tick, but woven together naturally. Understanding why something works makes you a better player, and I try to make that feel intuitive rather than like homework.
I'm a second-year Music and Music Technology student at the University of Nottingham, and I hold a Grade 8 Distinction in piano with serious jazz study alongside my classical background. I'm patient, relaxed in my approach, and I travel to my students — so there's no need to worry about getting to me.
All ages and levels welcome.
