My lesson structures will comprise of initially identifying weak points in learning and then targeting those specific areas/topics by building up (the many times overlooked) fundamental knowledge critical to achieving the highest level of understanding and the students desired grades.
Firstly I ask my students to select how they prefer to be tutored.
Whether their desire is to have a teacher who walks them through the content step by step or if they need someone who challenges them with specific questions and walks them through any areas they struggle on.
Once I have that, I decide my lesson plan tailored to the specific student whether they will need a walkthrough or have a guide helping them with questions overlooking their thought processes.
