Hello everyone!

In my lessons, I focus on creating a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes because that’s how real learning happens. I tailor each session to the student’s specific needs, whether that’s catching up on missed topics, preparing for exams, or challenging them with more advanced material. I often begin by reviewing previous topics to reinforce understanding before moving on to new content. Each lesson includes a mix of explanation, worked examples, and practice questions to build both confidence and skill.

I also help students develop problem-solving strategies, improve their exam techniques, and understand how math applies to real-life situations. This not only makes lessons more engaging but also helps students see the value in what they’re learning.

With 3 years of experience tutoring students from both primary and secondary levels, I’ve worked with a variety of learners - from those struggling with the basics to those aiming for top GCSE grades. I travel to students’ homes for in-person sessions, making it easier for families to fit tutoring into their schedule. My goal is always to make math feel less intimidating and more achievable, helping students reach their full potential at their own pace.

To be completely honest, I didn’t always enjoy math. It was only when my parents enrolled me in tutoring that I began to see things differently. As I learned more and discovered simpler, more effective ways to approach problems, I started to appreciate math in a whole new light. Over time, what once seemed difficult became exciting and rewarding, and I developed a real passion for the subject.

This experience is what inspired me to become a tutor myself. I want to share that "aha" moment with others - to help students who may feel the same way I did and guide them toward finding the confidence and enjoyment in math. My goal is to make math feel less intimidating and more accessible, showing students that with the right guidance and approach, they can not only improve but actually enjoy it.

I believe every student has the potential to succeed in math, and I’m excited to help them unlock that potential, just as I did.
