Paramdeep Kaur

I am a dedicated KS1 and KS2 Maths tutor based in Edwalton, offering face-to-face lessons from my home in a calm and supportive learning environment. I help children with SATs preparation, homework support, and building strong foundations in maths.

My lessons are structured but flexible, depending on each child’s needs and level. I usually begin by understanding what the child finds difficult, then break down concepts into simple, step-by-step explanations that are easy to follow. I use clear examples and guided practice to help children fully understand the topic before moving on.

I believe that confidence is key in maths, so I focus on creating a positive and encouraging atmosphere where children feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. I make lessons engaging and enjoyable so that children not only improve their skills but also start to enjoy maths.

Each session includes a mix of teaching, practice, and independent work to help reinforce learning. I also provide regular feedback so parents can see their child’s progress.

My goal is to help every child improve their understanding, build confidence, and achieve their full potential in maths.
