Param Khandelwal
Indian Classical Flute Instructor | Bansuri Artist
Param Khandelwal is an accomplished Indian classical bansuri (bamboo flute) artist and instructor, known for his soulful renditions and dedicated teaching. With over a decade of rigorous training in Hindustani Classical Music, he has honed his craft through years of disciplined practice, live performances, and constant learning. His musical journey began at a young age, and over time, the bansuri has become both his passion and his medium of expression.
As a teacher, Param brings 5+ years of experience in guiding students across all age groups and skill levels. He has successfully taught learners from India, the UK, USA, France, and other countries, building a truly global student community. For the past two years, he has also been associated with Art Gharana – a global art ed-tech platform, where he continues to inspire students through structured online learning. His teaching philosophy goes beyond just imparting technical skills—he focuses on helping students connect deeply with the music, ensuring lessons are interactive, engaging, and tailored to each learner’s goals.
Param has completed Sangeet Visharad (a 5-year diploma in Hindustani Classical Music – Flute) and is currently pursuing Nipun, an advanced 3-year program. His repertoire is vast, spanning pure classical ragas, semi-classical pieces, ghazals, Sufi compositions, and light Bollywood melodies. This versatility makes him equally at home in a classical baithak, a wedding performance, or a contemporary fusion setting.
As a performer, Param has brought the magic of bansuri to a variety of prestigious stages. From intimate baithaks to cultural festivals, and from family celebrations to grand weddings, his performances create an atmosphere of peace, beauty, and emotional depth. Notably, he has performed at Jaipur’s Albert Hall during the Heritage Festival and at high-profile private events including Ambani’s wedding celebrations.
Today, Param continues to balance performance and pedagogy, with a vision to spread the timeless sound of the bansuri across the world. Through his work, he strives to preserve the rich traditions of Indian classical music while making it accessible and enjoyable for modern audiences.
