My tutoring style focuses firstly on foundational skills and building confidence. I then aim to progress to application of these skills to new problems. Lessons are tailored to the student's needs. They are not extensively planned; Instead, I'll pay attention to the student and use this to decide what questions to set and what points to go over. If a student doesn't understand something I'll first try to lead them to the answer by asking questions and only give an explicit explanation if this approach isn't adequate.
