Free to focus on any specific topic you like and will ensure teaching follows specification. Lessons are catered to the exam board that you follow and are as engaging as possible to make sure that knowledge is being passed along effectively. Practice questions and material for lessons will be provided and can be sent over in advance if easier, focus around what I found most helpful and engaging rather than just having a teacher talk at you for an hour. Lessons taken at each individual’s pace; nothing will be rushed through and a thorough understanding of one topic is more beneficial than a vague understanding of multiple both in an intelligence sense and a sense of picking up as many marks as possible when it comes to exams. Students should feel free to ask any questions they like and I will always try to help in any way I can. I have no expectation of a “good” standard of maths coming into lessons as it is an extremely challenging subject so there is no judgement of ability or results all I aim to do is to help form and develop a good understanding of the subject and this depth and breadth of knowledge showing in results that you are happy with. I will always try to remain casual and not too serious whilst still professional as I know, first hand, how easy it is to make maths seem boring, so I will try to avoid this at all costs. I will always prioritise whatever you have come to me for, whether it’s success in exams or just understanding maths more easily.
