I can tell you that many teachers use a variety of methods to keep their students engaged and interested in the material. I always use interactive activities, videos, or group discussions to help students learn. I will also be using real-life examples to help students connect the material to their own lives allowing them to get familiar with it on a daily basis. We all know that day to day activities are the best way for people to become used to new things and can perform better with the activities. I have decided to volunteer to help educate as I know how hard it is to pass in understanding and gaining knowledge as somebody that is being introduced to a whole new language. If I can make it easier for one child so develop a skill in aiding their communication I will feel accomplished. Working with children is something I have always felt comfortable with as I have a large family and always take on any chance to aid in their homework and general child minding. I can provide a safe support network in which my experience can be relatable for my students, inspiring them that it is possible. I feel my passion for this area and past struggles of my own is what sets me apart and makes me an ideal candidate for such a role. I am excited by the opportunity to help and motivate young minds into expanding their horizons for the future. I look forward to hearing from you.
