Onyero Walter Ofuzim

I’m a Master of Science graduate in Electrical & Software Engineering at the University of Calgary. Over the past few years, I’ve tutored students in grades 7–12 and university learners in math, physics, and programming, and I also coach chess for students who want a structured path from tactics to confident game plans.
My approach is diagnostic and supportive. In our first meeting, I learn how you think, what the course expects, and where the gaps are. From there, I built a plan with step-by-step notes, worked examples, and lots of targeted practice. You’ll get custom worksheets, clear solution keys, and short check-ins so we track progress without stress.
I’m comfortable across the Canadian and US curriculum for Junior/Senior High (algebra, functions, trigonometry, pre-calculus, calculus, physics), and I support university/college engineering, math, science and labs. For programming, I teach Python. SQL, Scala and MATLAB from zero to problem-solving, clean notebooks, readable code, and plots that explain the math.
