I am a friendly, patient, and highly experienced Mathematics Tutor who works with students across different Key Stages, including Key Stage 2, Key Stage 3, GCSE (Foundation and Higher), and A-Level Mathematics. My goal is not only to help students achieve excellent grades, but also to build their confidence and enjoyment of maths.
I have a proven record of helping students make real progress. Many of my GCSE Higher Tier students achieve top grades, including 8s, 9s, and A*, while Foundation Tier students consistently reach a minimum of grade 5, often improving from much lower starting points. At A-Level, I support students with Pure Maths, Statistics, and Mechanics, helping them understand difficult topics clearly and approach exams with confidence.
Every student I work with is different, so I tailor my lessons to suit individual needs. I take time to identify gaps in understanding, explain topics step-by-step, and use clear examples to make maths easier to understand. Lessons are structured, supportive, and focused on the exam board requirements, while still being engaging and encouraging. I regularly use past exam questions and practice papers so students feel fully prepared and know exactly what to expect.
I place a strong emphasis on building confidence, especially for students who feel anxious or have struggled with maths in the past. I create a calm, positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. Parents are kept informed of progress, and I work closely with families to ensure students stay motivated, organised, and on track to achieve their best possible results.
