My lessons are built around one main idea: really understanding the material, not just memorising it. Once you know where something comes from and how it actually works, you can work problems out for yourself rather than panicking when a question looks unfamiliar.

Each session is tailored to where you are and what you need. Typically we’ll start by going over any specific topics you’re struggling with, I’ll explain the concepts clearly, break them down from first principles, and show you the little tricks and techniques that make them click.

From there, we move into past paper questions, because exam technique is just as important as knowing the content. Practising real questions helps you spot patterns in how examiners ask things, manage your time under pressure, and learn exactly what mark schemes are looking for.

Having just gone through GCSEs myself (with 8 Grade 9s and 2 Grade 8s) and currently studying A-Level Maths, Biology, and Chemistry at a top grammar school, I know the current specifications really well and understand the spots where most students tend to get stuck — because I’ve been there recently too.

Lessons are relaxed, patient, and interactive. I’d much rather you ask “silly” questions and leave genuinely understanding something, than nod along and forget it a week later. Whether you’re aiming for top grades, trying to catch up, or just want to feel more confident going into exams, my goal is to make the subject make sense — and ideally, a bit more enjoyable too.
