I like to find out what areas a student is strong or weak in - from their personal opinion, and then through a short test - and get to know their personality. People learn best when they're engaged and stimulated; usually, we struggle because we don't connect with the teacher, not because we aren't good enough. So, my goal is to understand each student's needs and personality and find the best way to engage them as a tutor. For this reason, my teaching method is unique for each student, just as everyone is unique.

I have experience teaching maths to people of all ages, from the start of school at 4 to A-Level, and adults who want to sharpen their understanding. My aim isn't just to help students pass the next test, but to learn the principles to pass every test after that, and achieve the best they can.

Personally, I studied maths through to A-Level and achieved a grade A.
