My lessons are designed to be supportive, engaging, and personalised to each student’s individual learning style, confidence level, and goals. I believe that creating a positive and encouraging environment is key to helping students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and developing a stronger understanding of maths.
Each lesson will begin with a short recap of previous topics or a starter activity to identify any areas that may need extra attention. We will then focus on a specific GCSE Maths topic, where I will explain concepts clearly, break problems down into manageable steps, and work through examples together. Once students feel confident with the method, we will practise exam-style questions to develop accuracy, problem-solving skills, and confidence when applying their knowledge.
I understand that maths can be challenging for many students, so I adapt my approach to suit each individual. Whether a student needs support with specific topics, wants to improve their exam technique, or is aiming to achieve a higher grade, lessons will be structured around their personal targets and areas for development.
I am passionate about helping students realise that maths is a skill that can improve with the right guidance and practice. Alongside my tutoring, I am currently studying accounting, which has strengthened my numerical skills, attention to detail, and ability to apply mathematical concepts in practical situations.
My aim is to help every student to not only improve their GCSE Maths results but also to build confidence and develop a more positive attitude towards the subject.
