I always remember at school, feeling like nobody understood my learning style, and feeling alone in trying to prepare for exams, all of which felt completely overwhelming! Which is where I would’ve benefitted from a tutor, who would help me understand the syllabus, exam content, and general concepts in a learning style that suited me.

My tutoring is relaxed, friendly and completely tailored to the student. I want you to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and working through areas you find difficult, without any judgement.

For medical school applicants, I can adapt each session depending on where you are in the application process. This might include working through UCAT-style questions and developing exam strategies, reviewing and strengthening your personal statement, or carrying out realistic interview practice (MMI or panel style) with feedback and guidance on how to improve. Or we can even talk about where you should be applying to ensure the greatest chance of success!

I like tutoring to be interactive rather than lecture based, or talking through information. We can identify strengths and areas for improvement, work through examples together, and finish with clear, practical steps to work on before our next session.

I also have experience tutoring GCSE Sciences, where I focus on building genuine understanding alongside exam technique and study methods, helping students become more confident and independent in their revision.

As a medical student and healthcare professional, I can also share my own experience of applying to medical school and progressing into healthcare, giving you practical insight alongside academic support.
