As someone who struggled myself in GCSE’s, I managed to become self-efficient in both teaching myself and helping others. In the end, I came out with 6+ GCSE’s at grades 4 and above. I enjoyed English literature and would like to teach it to others that may not like or understand the subject. I’ve tutored multiple family members and friends struggling, in both GCSE’s and SAT’s, which is why I believe I am able to help others. With English Literature, I would follow the AQA exam board, specifically Macbeth and the Love and Relationships poems, however, I would be able to branch off and do others if necessary. By using both online courses and revision sites, as well as my own revision and knowledge, I believe that I would be able to provide the tools for students to achieve grade 4’s and above come GCSE time next year. With SAT’s I will be able to provide a basic knowledge and understanding of anything that is needed to learn, whilst also doing my own research to provide the best possible teaching standards I can offer. Overall, I have confidence in my abilities to ensure the best possible outcome for those that I tutor and I am eager to learn what needs to be learned in order for me to guarantee the students success.
