I am a highly accomplished, qualified Secondary School Teacher and current Head of Department with nearly two decades of experience delivering exceptional academic outcomes in Philosophy, Politics, and Religious Studies across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 (Years 7–13). My particular specialism is A level Philosophy, which I have been teaching for nearly 20 years.
I am an expert in driving student progress, evidenced by achieving the highest value-added score at a leading independent school.
I am passionate about inclusive education, with a proven track record of teaching a wide range of students, including those navigating complex barriers to learning, additional educational needs (SEND).
By using evidence based pedagogical strategies, I empower students to understand and regulate their own learning processes. I am also an AQA Exam Board Marker, which allows me to tailor highly effective one-to-one and small-group tutoring that unlocks self-efficacy, independent critical thinking, and top-tier grades.
