What to Expect from My Lessons

My lessons follow a progressive structure, meaning we build your understanding step by step. At the end of each session, I include a short test to make sure you’ve truly understood the topic before moving forward — this helps lock in your knowledge and build real confidence.

All lessons are one-on-one, giving you my full attention. I aim to understand how you learn best, because everyone processes information differently. Whether you’re more visual, hands-on, or need repetition, I’ll tailor each lesson to suit your style and pace.

I expect students to be focused and respectful. If you’re not taking the lessons seriously, I will get in touch with your parents to address the issue quickly — this is to ensure neither your time, your parents’ investment, nor my effort is wasted.

I’ll be upfront — I don’t have a lot of tutoring experience yet. That’s why my rate is more affordable. But I’m enthusiastic, committed, and qualified, having earned a Grade 6 in GCSE Maths and currently studying Engineering — which requires strong problem-solving and mathematical skills.

If you have a lack of confidence in my ability to tutor due to my little experience and my age, I am willing to offer a free day of teaching, this will be a 1+ hour taster of what I can do. If you’re interested let me know privately after the lesson, if not feel free to leave without saying word.
