A typical lesson begins with a short warm-up activity to build confidence and get you speaking straight away. From there, we focus on the key skills you’d like to develop, such as grammar, vocabulary, listening, reading, writing, or speaking. I like to combine structured exercises with interactive activities such as roleplays, discussions, or real-world scenarios, so that what you learn feels practical and relevant. I also use a mix of authentic materials, articles, videos, and past exam papers where appropriate, to make sure you’re exposed to natural English as it’s actually used.

I am a native English teacher with one year of classroom experience in Spain, where I learned how to adapt lessons for students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. This experience taught me the importance of patience, clarity, and creativity when explaining complex grammar or vocabulary to learners whose first language is not English. I gained practical strategies for overcoming language barriers, such as using visual aids, gestures, and real-life examples to make lessons more accessible and engaging. Working with students of different ages and abilities helped me develop flexibility in my teaching methods, ensuring that every learner felt supported and able to progress.
