My lessons are interactive, practical, and tailored to each student’s learning needs. I begin by identifying what the student already understands, then build new concepts step-by-step using clear explanations and relatable examples.
Lessons include guided practice, questioning, problem-solving, and opportunities for students to explain their thinking. I use digital whiteboards and online tools to make lessons engaging and easy to follow.
With five years of Mathematics teaching and tutoring experience, I support students with school Mathematics, exam preparation, revision, and challenging topics. My goal is not just to help students get the right answer, but to help them understand why the answer is correct and become confident independent problem-solvers.
I also use short assessments and regular feedback to monitor progress and identify areas that need further attention. Where a student struggles with a concept, I change my approach rather than simply repeating the same explanation. I may use diagrams, worked examples, real-life situations, visual representations, or simpler steps to create another route to understanding.
For exam-focused students, I combine content mastery with exam technique, time management, structured practice, and review of common mistakes. I encourage students to think aloud, justify their answers, and develop strategies they can use independently.
My lessons are supportive, challenging, and focused on measurable progress. I want every student to leave each lesson with greater understanding, confidence, and the ability to apply what they have learned independently.
