I make use of different pedagogy of learning depending on the learning ability. I ensure all students are carried along mostly in the classroom I use Cooperative learning which is a teaching technique that involves students working together in small groups to achieve a common goal. In secondary schools, this technique can be used to improve student engagement, increase participation, and enhance learning outcomes.
But for one on one learning, I make use of inquiry-based learning which is a teaching method that involves students exploring a topic or problem through active investigation and critical thinking. In this approach, students take responsibility for their learning by posing questions, researching, and analyzing information to develop a deep understanding of the topic.
The process starts with a question or a problem that students need to solve. They are encouraged to identify what they already know, what they need to know, and how they can find out. This process may involve researching, conducting experiments, or engaging in discussion and debate.
Inquiry-based learning encourages students to develop a range of skills, including critical thinking, problem-solving, research, communication, and collaboration. It also fosters curiosity and creativity and helps students develop a deeper understanding of the subject matter.
As secondary school students, inquiry-based learning can help you to become more engaged in your learning, develop critical thinking skills, and learn to work collaboratively with others. By taking an active role in your learning, you can develop a deeper understanding of the subject matter and build important skills that will serve you well in future academic and professional pursuits
