I was born in Mexico City and lived there til I was 11.

I moved to the UK and learnt English here at the age of 11.

The way I see languages is through the way an artist paints a brand new painting, start small, add bold touches and enjoy the process.

The way I have taught previously Spanish, is through a prioritization task where I first of all understand what is the end goal, see what you're currently comfortable with and add that leap of faith, trusting that with my support and your eagerness to learn can achieve the goal and surpass it with no worries at all.

Also, it's meant to be fun, just imagine having a beautiful conversation with someone in their native language! Like this clicked with me when I moved to the UK, realising a lot of people could speak Spanish, when I spoke to them in English, they would only be able to give me a handful of conversation topics, and then once we opened up and started speaking Spanish, the conversation just kept flowing.

The method I take is through all the senses:

Listen - conversations, music, TV
Speak - Specific topics of interest and introduce Spanglish into the mix, adding all the new words you currently understand with some English in there too to make you feel at ease
Writing - Start with what you like, like a passion or a hobby and take it from there
Tasting - I am a qualified Chef, so expressing the food from the country you wish to visit is a sure way to immerse yourself
