I am a qualified and experienced Accounting educator with over 13 years of tutoring experience, supporting high school learners as well as tertiary students, including UNISA. I hold a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree, a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), and a Postgraduate Diploma in Risk Management, which allows me to combine strong academic knowledge with effective teaching strategies.

In addition, I am a Professional Accountant (SA), a designation that reflects my commitment to high professional and ethical standards within the accounting field. This practical and professional background enables me to teach Accounting not only as a subject to pass, but as a real-world skill that learners can understand and apply with confidence.

My online lessons are live and interactive, flexible to suit each learner and Focused on understanding, not rote learning.Each lesson typically includes recap of previous work, step-by-step explanation of new concepts,worked examples done together with the learner, Learner practice with guidance,exam-style questions and tips,feedback and correction.

I break down complex Accounting topics into simple, logical steps and use real-life examples where possible. My teaching style is supportive,encouraging questions and participation, adapted to the learner’s level and pace and I focus on building confidence.

Depending on the learner’s level, lessons may cover Basic Accounting concepts to financial statements, exam techniques and common pitfalls.My goal is not just to help learners pass, but to help them understand Accounting and feel confident applying it.
