Each lesson is carefully planned to suit the student’s level and learning goals. I always begin by reviewing previous work to check understanding and identify any gaps in knowledge. We then move on to the main topic for the lesson, which I explain step-by-step using clear examples and interactive questioning to make sure the student is actively engaged.

After teaching the main concept, I provide guided practice questions, gradually increasing the difficulty as the student grows more confident. To finish, we review key points and set a short piece of homework or practice questions to reinforce learning between sessions. I also track progress over time so students and parents can clearly see improvement.


Resources I Use:

I use a mix of reliable and engaging resources to make each session effective and enjoyable. These include:
• Past papers and exam-style questions (for 11+, SATs, and secondary school maths)
• Worksheets and topic-specific practice materials I’ve created or adapted from trusted sources
• Online interactive tools and whiteboards (e.g. BitPaper, Google Jamboard, or Zoom whiteboard) for real-time problem solving
• Visual aids and diagrams to help explain abstract concepts clearly
• Progress trackers and quizzes to measure understanding and boost confidence

My lessons are designed to build a strong mathematical foundation while encouraging curiosity, independence, and a positive attitude towards learning. I am kind and extremely approachable ensuring students feel happy and safe during lessons. I ensure that my lessons aren’t overwhelming and provide breaks when necessary additionally I do my best to work according to the students pace but still bring out amazing results.
