I have experience in SEN, PRU and mainstream settings. I have worked with Autistic students, ADHD, ODD and many other conditions including dyslexia and dysplasia. I like to find out what the student or parents are hoping to achieve and work out a plan dependent on need, weaknesses and anything that could support or hinder the students progress. The pace is determined by a combination of these.
Lessons will begin with recall and lesson content will have real life applications when possible.Discussions on processes and applications. Demonstration on best practice then practice and assessment by the learner. Finally a check understanding by applying skills to answering GCSE questions.
