Lesson Format
1. Warm-up & Recap – We begin each session by revisiting key points from the previous lesson or tackling a short set of warm-up questions. This helps refresh your memory, build confidence, and spot any gaps that might need extra attention.
2. Core Teaching – I introduce new concepts step by step, using simple explanations, worked examples, and clear diagrams. I make sure we don’t just rush through topics—you’ll fully understand why each method works, not just how to follow it.
3. Guided Practice – Once you’ve seen the method in action, we work through problems together. At first, I’ll guide you carefully, then gradually step back so that you take more ownership. This way, you develop independence and confidence in applying the skills.
4. Independent Problem-Solving – You’ll attempt questions on your own, including exam-style problems. I’ll be there to support, correct misconceptions, and give feedback, but the focus is on you practising in a safe, encouraging space.
5. Review & Next Steps – We finish by recapping what you’ve achieved in the lesson, identifying your strengths, and setting targets for next time. This helps keep your progress on track and ensures nothing gets overlooked.

My Teaching Experience

With a degree in Aerospace Engineering, I have an advanced background in mathematics and its real-world applications. I’ve taught students in Maths, Science, Technology, and Engineering, helping them improve their confidence, strengthen weak areas, and achieve higher grades.
