Hello everyone! My name is Noemi Kouassi and I’m a Year 12 student studying A-level English Language and Literature, currently predicted an A. At GCSE, I achieved a grade 9 in English Literature and a grade 8 in English Language, so I understand what it’s like preparing for exams and how to make the content feel less overwhelming and more manageable.
I can tutor students from primary level all the way up to Year 11, helping with reading, writing, comprehension, English Language, and English Literature. My lessons are relaxed, friendly, and very supportive, and I always want students to feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes because that’s how real progress happens.
Each lesson is structured but not rigid. We usually start by going over what we covered before, then focus on one key skill like writing, analysis, or planning answers, and then practise it together using clear examples and guidance. I’ll show you how I approach questions step by step, and then support you while you try it yourself. We finish with simple, helpful feedback so you know exactly what to work on next. I’m also really patient and easy to talk to, so students never feel rushed, and I always adapt lessons to suit their individual learning style and pace. I know that English isn’t the easiest subject for everyone, however I help students break it down into simple, manageable steps so it feels much more achievable and less stressful.
I try to keep lessons engaging by using interesting texts, relatable examples, and straightforward exam techniques that actually work. I also encourage students to think for themselves and build their own ideas, so they feel more confident in both exams and class discussions, and generally more comfortable with English overall.
