Hi, I’m Noelia! I have a strong academic background in English and a genuine interest in helping students improve their skills and confidence. I achieved a Grade 9 in GCSE English Literature, a Grade B in A-level English Literature ,a Grade 8 in GCSE English Language. Through my own studies, I developed a strong understanding of exam techniques, essay structure, and how to analyse texts effectively, which I am keen to pass on to others.

One of my key qualities is patience and approachability. I understand that many students struggle with English because they lack confidence or feel overwhelmed by the subject. Having experienced the pressures of GCSEs and A-levels myself, I am able to empathise with students and create a supportive, encouraging learning environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and expressing their ideas.

My teaching methods focus on clarity, structure, and confidence-building. I would begin by identifying a student’s strengths and areas for improvement, then tailor lessons to their individual needs. I break down complex concepts such as language analysis and essay writing into manageable steps, using clear examples and model answers. I also place strong emphasis on planning, vocabulary development, and exam technique, as well as regular practice with constructive feedback to help students see steady progress.

Overall, my aim as a tutor is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to help them develop confidence in their ability to analyse texts, express ideas clearly, and approach exams with greater self-belief.
