I have worked in more than 2 tutoring companies gaining lots of experience and have understood what teaching methods work with students. I will be running online lesson mainly after school on weekdays. An assessment will be conducted to check where your child needs support and those topics will be retaught before beginning the topic taught in school. Homework will be set weekly and feedback will be provided within 3 days of homework submissions/ before their next lesson. Monthly exams will be taken to see your child's progress in class. I specialise in Maths and Science and can support by helping them understand key textbook terms and definitions and then guiding them through past paper questions. Example questions will be modelled in lesson for children to copy into their notes and can be used to help answer questions on the homework. Active recall will the key principle used in my lessons, for example 10 minutes starter questions to check knowledge on previous lesson's content. Followed by a review if needed on the topic or a new topic will be introduced.
