As an art teacher, my lessons are designed to build confidence, creativity, and strong foundational skills in every student. Each session follows a clear structure, beginning with a short introduction to the day’s topic—whether it is drawing fundamentals, shading techniques, colour theory, composition, or creative expression. I demonstrate each concept step by step, ensuring students understand the process before they begin their own work.

My teaching style is highly interactive and hands-on. Students learn by observing, practising, and experimenting. I encourage them to explore different mediums such as pencil, charcoal, watercolours, acrylics, and mixed media, so they gain exposure to various artistic styles. During practice time, I provide individual guidance, helping each student recognise their strengths, improve technique, and develop their personal artistic voice.

Feedback plays an important role in my lessons. I offer constructive, supportive suggestions that help students grow without discouraging their creativity. I aim to create a classroom environment where students feel safe to express themselves, ask questions, and take creative risks.

With several years of experience teaching diverse age groups, I understand how to adapt my methods to suit beginners, hobby learners, or advanced students preparing portfolios. My lessons focus not just on skill building, but also on nurturing observation, imagination, and emotional expression through art.
