My lessons are structured yet flexible, tailored to each student’s ability, goals, and learning style. I begin by identifying gaps in understanding, then break down topics into clear, simple steps before progressing to exam-style questions and independent practice. My focus is always on helping students understand the reasoning behind methods, not just memorising them.

Sessions are interactive and supportive, encouraging students to ask questions and engage throughout. I use a mix of explanations, guided examples, and past paper questions to build confidence and exam technique. Where useful, I link topics to real-world engineering examples to make concepts more relatable and easier to understand.

With a Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering degree from the University of Portsmouth and a strong A-Level background in Maths, Further Maths, and Physics, I combine subject expertise with a patient, structured teaching approach aimed at helping students improve steadily and become independent learners.
