My Lessons are Engaging, Dynamic, and Purposeful because for I believe teaching is not just about imparting knowledge—it's about inspiring curiosity, encouraging exploration, and fostering growth.
My lessons are carefully crafted to align with the 5E model: Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate, and Evaluate, ensuring every session is both meaningful and enjoyable for my students.
My students come from different backgrounds, including rural, semi-urban and also big cities of India and also other countries like USA and Dublin etc. I help in strengthening Math concepts, developing spoken English fluency, strong creative writing and grammar, soft skills, study skills and memory techniques to ace any exam, goal setting, time management, leadership abilities, or stress management.
The Lesson Format: A Journey Through Learning
1. Engage- Start every lesson with an interesting hook activity like a puzzle, game, anecdote, story or thought-provoking question to capture the students' attention, motivating them to dive deeper.
2. Explore - Students are natural explorers and learn well if they are actively engaged with the topic by experimenting, investigating, or brainstorming. They take ownership of their learning.
3. Explain- Following exploration, students articulate their findings and solidify their understanding, and also hones their communication skills. I guide them to connect their observations to underlying concepts, ensuring clarity.
4. Elaborate -The lesson moves to the application stage, where students apply their new knowledge to practical or real-world contexts. This could involve role-plays, group discussions, case studies, or problem-solving tasks, depending on the subject.
5. Evaluate -Evaluation is continuous and multifaceted. While I assess students’ progress through traditional means like quizzes and written tasks, I also incorporate creative methods like peer reviews, interactive games, and reflective exercises. The goal is to make evaluation a natural and enriching part of the learning process.
The Dynamics of My Lessons -My lessons are interactive and student-centered, with a blend of individual, pair, and group activities. I use a variety of tools and resources—multimedia, storytelling, role-playing, and even improvisation—to make learning engaging and relatable.
My Experience: A Journey of Dedication -With over three decades of teaching and training experience, I have had the privilege of working with learners of all ages and backgrounds. From conducting workshops for rural communities to training corporate professionals and engineering students, I bring both versatility and depth to my teaching. My approach is informed by my certifications in soft skills, leadership, and life skills training, ensuring a structured yet adaptive learning experience.
