My lessons are structured yet flexible, tailored to suit each student’s goals and learning style. I usually begin by identifying your current level and understanding what you’d like to achieve ( whether it’s mastering a specific skill, improving overall fluency or preparing for an exam).
Lesson Format:
1. Warm-up (5–10 mins): We start with a quick review or casual conversation to build confidence and set the tone.
2. Core Focus (30–40 mins): This varies by student—it could involve grammar, vocabulary, speaking practice, writing tasks or real-life scenarios depending on your needs.
3. Interactive Practice: I use role-plays, discussions, games or real-world materials (videos, articles, etc.) to keep lessons dynamic and engaging.
4. Feedback & Review (10 mins): I give constructive feedback and highlight areas for improvement, along with homework or tips to work on between sessions.
My lessons are designed to be engaging, structured and completely tailored to each student’s individual needs and learning goals. I begin by having a short discussion with each new student to understand their current level, what they’d like to focus on and how they learn best. Whether you’re looking to improve your conversational skills, grammar, writing or prepare for exams like IELTS or GCSEs, I make sure to personalise every lesson so that it’s relevant and effective.
Experience:
I have around 10 months of teaching or tutoring experience and I have worked with students of various ages and backgrounds: from complete beginners to advanced learners. My goal is to create a supportive, encouraging space where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions and progressing at their own pace.
Overall, my lessons are interactive, student-centered and designed to make learning enjoyable and effective.
