Nimasha

Hello! I’m Nimasha, and I offer friendly and engaging Maths lessons for primary school children.

I have experience conducting lectures for undergraduate students in Software Engineering, where I helped them improve their problem-solving and analytical skills. This experience has strengthened my ability to explain complex concepts clearly and make learning both structured and enjoyable.

I also completed my Advanced Level in the Mathematics stream in Sri Lanka, where I obtained an ‘A’ grade and was selected for a state university degree programme in Software Engineering, which is highly competitive. This achievement reflects my strong foundation in mathematical concepts and logical reasoning.

I believe that building a strong foundation in Mathematics from an early stage is essential for developing problem-solving confidence and lifelong analytical thinking. I can tailer my lessons to be interactive, personalised, and supportive. I focus on understanding rather than memorising, helping students grasp the “why” behind each concept.

I use real-life examples, short practice tasks, and fun problem-solving activities to make learning enjoyable. Topics include arithmetic, fractions, decimals, shapes, measurements, and reasoning skills, all adapted to each student’s learning pace.
