Lesson Formats:
- Student-led sessions; guiding them towards the discovery of their unique learning style.
- Flexible and holistic approach; lessons can blend subject-specific revision and general support for A-Levels (e.g. coping with stress, organisation, time management, UCAS, etc.)
- Gradual learning approach; sessions may begin with verbal, quick-fire questions and end with practice exam questions.
- Maintaining knowledge: lessons will involve demonstrations of how to take efficient notes for topics and collaborating with the student to create a personalised revision planner.
- Personal experience: my guidance is influenced by my personal A-Level journey and will involve nuanced suggestions related to my experiences. As a straight A*/A student for my chosen subjects, I can assure the validity of these ideas.
- Efficient revision: the key to success is in working smarter, not working harder. I hope to emphasise the importance of high-quality revision and encourage the student that there is a path to success without feeling burnt out.
