I am a calm, patient, and highly dedicated maths tutor with many years of experience supporting students with different learning styles and abilities. I am a calm, patient, and highly dedicated maths tutor with many years of experience supporting students with different learning styles and abilities. I began tutoring intensively while at university in Greece and continued for several years afterward, developing a strong foundation in explaining mathematical concepts clearly and effectively.

My tutoring approach is based on repetition, careful breakdown of topics, and building confidence step by step. I love using visuals and games, while placing great emphasis on adapting lessons to each child, using a wide range of well-prepared and online materials tailored to individual needs. This has been especially important in my work supporting my own SEN child preparing and successfully passing his 11+.

Alongside my tutoring background, I have built a successful career in IT Project Management, which has strengthened my organisation, planning, and problem-solving skills—qualities that directly enhance my tutoring practice. I recently returned to tutoring to support my own children through the 11+ process, and currently through GCSE (Maths and Computer Science) and this has reaffirmed my passion for helping children understand maths in a structured, fun and encouraging way.

In addition to mathematics, I also started teaching Python programming, which helps develop logical thinking and problem-solving skills that complement their mathematical learning. I aim to explain concepts clearly and accessibly, without making lessons overly technical.

My goal is simple: reduce maths anxiety, build confidence, and maybe even turn a few “I can’t do this” moments into “ohhh, I get it now!”, so please get in touch
