I am an A level student studying maths, and will sit my exams this summer, I achieved a grade 8 at GCSE and have experience in maths tutoring at GCSE foundation level. I am able to explain mathematical concepts and theories clearly with good patience by taking a slow, step by step approach with multiple examples. I am able to adapt my communication and methods of teaching accordingly to suit the requirements of each student, appreciating that each young person has different requirements when learning Maths. My lessons consist of highlighting content clearly first, before moving on to completing example questions together then finally letting the student attempt to answer a similar question independently once confident, providing hints and prompts when required.
I am an experienced football coach for young children, have work experience in a primary school, and babysitting for external families, which has developed my communication and leadership skills when engaging with young people and their guardians.
As an online tutor, I would be enthusiastic, extremely positive and create a safe environment for all students when learning mathematics, and I am committed to providing not only improved results, but long term confidence with problem solving and mathematical questions.
