I have a master's and bachelor's degree in Psychology from one of the world's top 100 universities. I have in-person counselling and teaching experience with people of all ages. My teaching style is adaptable, empathetic, creative, organized, and interactive. The teaching environment will be supportive and non-judgmental. In an interactive class where students will have plenty of time to ask questions, I will facilitate learning by modelling and scaffolding. For the lessons, I plan to use flow charts and organized representations of the content to help students understand difficult topics. For long-term retention of the lessons, I will consider cultural factors and use relatable examples for the students. I'll wrap up the session with a friendly formative assessment and a summary of the entire lesson.
