I have been imparting guitar lessons for the past year or so throughout a variety of different styles. I have always to centre my lessons around the students’ own aims, whether that may be to learn their favourite songs, or to pursue a career in music. Around this I set up lesson plans with a balance of techniques and practices relevant to the student, as well as an attached piece of music that demonstrates these techniques.
