With 24 years of teaching experience I have taught and examines several exam boards up to A level. I ensure lessons are linked to concrete examples and are carefully scaffolded so students feel supported when tackling more challenging material. Students are encouraged to think independently and I teach problem solving techniques rather than rote learning as the application of knowledge is key to success in Physics exams.

I am happy to support all learners to achieve the best grade they can. I will be honest with them about what they can achieve and the work needed to get there.

I use OneNote and Teams to tailor each lesson to the individual and provide revision resources and homework (marked outside of lesson time). I also help with university applications and personal statements free of charge.
