I work well with children. I like to make lessons fun. We learn Phonics through songs and we will also do poems.
We will do game quiz's to ensure they understand the meaning of words we are working on.
We will also learn from books with pictures as I find a visual aid is very helpful for younger people. This will help them associate words with the picture.
I am very patient and compassionate with students.
I have 3 young children myself who I help with reading and home work. My son had a speech delay issue when he was young and I worked tirelessly to help him catch up with his peers. He is now a very good speaker and is at the same literacy levels of not more advanced than his peers at school. It was from helping him that I found I loved to help children learn and from working with his Speech and language therapist that I gained skills and experience. I am very passionate about helping children learn.
