I will make maths lessons as fun and educational as possible, with a focus on real-world examples. There will be no boring lessons here!
I will use concrete examples, like blocks and numicon, pictorial examples, like number lines and online resources, and abstract examples once you have mastered those.
I will use the same format for the lesson every time, so that you know exactly what is happening, with a short recap at the beginning to remember everything, and then an interactive, collaborative lesson input and a task that I model first, then we do together, and then you work on independently. I will mark tasks and activities with you at the end of each lesson so you know where you stand, and keep a log for you of your progress.
