I can offer three different forms of tuition.

1. Having been an actor at The Royal Shakespeare Company, toured the world with the internationally renowned Propellor Theatre Company (for whom I also wrote music), and written two books on the Performance of Shakespeare and an exploration of Shakespeare through his History Plays, I am well qualified to provide extra tuition in Shakespeare and English. I have lectured at Warwick and Sheffield Universities and can offer detailed and knowledgeable advice on Iambic Pentameter and the meaning of Shakespeare in context.

2. A BAFTA and Olivier Award winning actor of 30 years experience I can also offer tailored and individual Drama Training and public speaking classes to anyone auditioning for Drama School or worrying about that next speech in the board meeting.

3. I have also played session piano and guitar professionally in bands, hotels, bars and cafes; on stage at The Royal Shakespeare Company and virtually every theatre in Britain playing one instrument or another. This means that I can teach the idea of picking up songs and learning through 'playing' - as in 'having a laugh'. Yes, I can teach theory, yes I can teach the notes, but actually it's through listening to your favourite song and learning how to play it that we can learn so much.
